I recently came across a documentary on this phenomenal woman.

You see I have always known her to be a guardian angel who always devoted her life to the needy and the poor.

I didn’t know her in-depth.
So I took it upon myself to learn more about her.

Each time I read many of her stories or see her work I can’t help but hold back the tears.

Her gentle heart,
Her unwavering faith,
Her fighting spirit,

Rekindles the extinguishing flame in me.

Still in progress following her journey and the more I walk with her, the less I see myself and the more I see a universe.

A prodigal world,

A world filled with suffering and pain, 

I see no human race but human erosion,

I see a Lazarus and Jairus terrene,

But not her

She saw love, peace,

She sought light in the dark,

She saw a Romans 14:17-19 world,

She saw potential,

She embraced goodwill.

“People are often unreasonable, illogical
and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of
selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may
cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they
may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often
forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it
may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is
between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.”

 She loved anyway.
