Vulnerability is risky business and I have come to realize that it is also the most definite way to grow. There must be a sense of unguardedness for one to step out into an unknown territory. The fear of ridicule is what holds people back. The world is embracing a culture of dismissing weaknesses and is applauding the individual who appears to have it together forgetting that appearance is highly deceiving.

It is okay to put yourself out there, to speak your mind out loud whether people agree or not, whether your thoughts are informed or not. I would rather be corrected and educated than remain silent out of fear of ridicule for saying the wrong thing.
