God’s Schedule

In Your time God, You make things known, You reveal Your mysteries to Your children.

Thank You Lord for Your word. The word of life. (Let me just squeeze this down here since I was planning on writing a short post)

For some reason whenever I am about to read the Bible or start praying, I remember all of a sudden I haven’t brushed my teeth; I haven’t drank water the whole day; the person I was supposed to call today, “Oh men! I forgot about them, I should call them now.” And the one that deserves most drum rolls, SLEEP, like I can be so active the whole day and as soon as I open my Bible or start a prayer, the wave of sleep that hits me is not a joke, like all of a sudden I have eye bags and I feel like haven’t slept for daaays!

Don’t let the enemy fool you! Ask yourself why am I getting this distracted and opposed while trying to spend time with God? Because there is something God has purposed for you that the enemy doesn’t want you to know; he does not want you praying because he knows the POWER of prayer. I don’t like focusing on the devil but y’all got to know the truth, he is the father of all lies and he has been masking himself in our relationships, destroying families and marriages, creating patterns of failure and havoc in our lives, killing our loved ones, stealing our joy, getting our children addicted to drugs and lustful sexual desires, working tirelessly to make sure we never find out what God already declared about our lives.

John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.” (KJV)

he is not the guy you hear about carrying a red pitchfork. he is actively roaming here on earth looking for people to devour, Revelation 12 explains all of that, I won’t get into the details. he is good at camouflaging and he wants you to think, “If God is so good why did He let this and that happen to you?” So he makes you hostile towards God so that you stay in pain and anger at the one and only person who can give you life and life to the fullest.

Stay vigilant and never let any distraction rob you of your time with God, go into your secret place and put everything away and focus only on God, then you can hear Him clearly.

Oh Lord! This was supposed to be a short post, goodness, but God is good for giving me this ability to write.

That part about getting distracted when you want to read the Bible or pray reminded me about this sermon I watched on YouTube, that part is specifically from minute 8:15 – 9:29. Watch it when you can, here’s the link: https://youtu.be/TRQxZmfvurI
