Who is He that gives me power, love and the spirit of boldness?

He is my protector and my guide.

He is compassionate and merciful.

He is no longer a God of Sunday’s only. He is the God of my Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

He is my best friend. He is my confidant.

He is the only one I aim to please.

He is my fortress, He is my refuge. He is my rock and my resting place. He is the shoulder I cry on.

He is my husband.

He is my comforter.

He is unchanged, unmoved, constant, unshaken, unwavering and unbound.

He is my light in times of darkness and despair.

He is my shepherd.

He corrects me with so much love and does not get irritated when I go to Him about the same issue over and over again.

My God is patient and understanding.

He knew about me even before my existence and came after heart right from my mother’s womb. There’s no wall He won’t bring down to get to me, there is no mountain He won’t tear down coming after me. There is no valley He won’t go down chasing after me.

He has given me a new name and a brand new identity. He has called me His heritage and inheritance. He has called me Abraham’s seed and therefore I am the righteousness of God.

He is gentle and kind. He is full of new mercies and greater graces.

He is disciplined, orderly, focused, true, principled. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His word never changes. His promises never change even when I change.

My God is faithful.

He is my peace and joy giver, He is good and loving. He has given me Jesus. His love is constant no matter what I do, how I act, what I say. He is my teacher, He is my father and in Him I find my purpose.

He is my partner in life. My first consultant in all decision making. I am not perfect but my God is. He is forgiving and forbearing.

He is my I AM. The God of Israel, Abraham, Moses, Joseph. The God who parted the Red Sea, the God who gave David victory.

I am a child of God.
