Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jesus Loves You

I was telling a friend of mine over the weekend how there are days when I have so many things to write but I am unable to find the words to express those sentiments. And November has been that kind of a month for me.

My life is not always a constant high. At times, I experience moments of discouragement and deep discomfort. But that doesn’t mean that God loves me any less or I love Him any less.

The interesting thing about life in the 21st Century, is that everyone seems to be running, striving and rushing. Sort of like a race of life, towards something which is not really defined, but everyday straining to get towards it.

But all this is contributed by the fact that people are not giving themselves space to be human. And being human comes with getting tired, burned out, pain, confusion, literally it comes with human struggles. And we all go through valleys and caves we would otherwise prefer not to go through if we had an option.

So today, I don’t know who needs to hear this because I do.

Jesus Loves You. And He said,

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

he is stealing people’s joy, peace and rest in God, he is killing people’s dreams, and loved ones and he is destroying homes, lives and wrecking havoc in people’s lives. he is destroying people’s hope for the present and the future and he is creating a pattern of failure in people’s lives and letting them drown in their own sorrows. he is working in the shadows and masking himself in the material things of this world and even in the people around us who we love.

But Jesus said,

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Jesus loves you and He wants everyone to live a life glorifying God.

It is important to allow ourselves the space to take inventory of the quality of life we live on a daily basis, examining to see whether we are living a life that brings glory to God or we are just striving along the path of life in a vicious pattern not of God.

I needed to be reminded that Jesus loves me, and that He came that I could live my life more abundantly. A life guided by the Holy Spirit and not by what society dictates.

Jesus loves you too and desires the same for every single person.

God bless 😊
