Letters to God (II)

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your loving kindness, your grace, your healing and your goodness. Indeed great is thy faithfulness! I am awed by your majesty and goodness. Everyday, I am swimming in a pool of wonder at your words; which have become to me a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Allow me to pour my whole heart unto you. Even my expressions cannot exhaust the desires that burn in my heart for you. For many a men have been captivated by love on earth, but for me, I have been enthralled, bewitched and delighted by your words. The way you give me comfort and peace, never have I ever experienced such kind under the skies and under all rocks I have turned in search.

You are my King. My loving husband and I desire to do all according to your will for you have lifted me up in your wonderful ways. My face glows boasting of the cross. I am your’s, mould me, save me, teach me, make me, chasten me, work through me. Oh! How I love your law, it is my meditation all day long. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Your words are sweeter than honey to my mouth. How was I so blind to them? Your law is better than thousands of gold and silver. You have prunned me and purged me with your word, which I have sought and hidden in my heart. The entrance of your word has given light unto my soul and behold! I have no words of my own left other than to cry out!

Abba Father! How I lovest thee!

Order my steps in your word and do not allow iniquity to have dominion over me. Here I am your servant, give me understanding that I may know your perfect will, that I may know that which is the hope of your calling for me and that I may know your testimonies.

Shall tribulations separate me from your love? Shall hardness of heart keep me from falling prostate before your presence? Lord, in you have I discovered the most profound love. Death has lost all meaning and new life now have I gained. You have swept me like a wave across the ocean in your love and each day I plunge deeper to uncover this deep mystery. I have become like a mad woman who cannot seem to leave your word, I am carried away by it, I find myself smiling and in day dreams meditating on your words that seem foolish to men.

Your word has brought me victory in my life and I have sought it like a hungry child. Man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Indeed! My lips shall praise you, Oh my Lord! Let my heart be sound in your statutes that I may not be ashamed. Deliver me from the oppression of man, my flesh trembles for fear of you and your wrath when I turn away from your wonderful words. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that way I learned and leaned on your statutes. Were it not for my broken state, how else could I have sought you? I know, that your judgments are right and that in your faithfulness you afflicted me.

Now, let my light shine before men that they may see your wonderful works. That they may give glory to you Oh Lord! My husband! Great peace have I Oh Lord! Nothing shall offend me, I will cling on to your words until my last breath. My tongue shall speak of your words and sing your praises, for all your commandments are righteousness. Where can a man cleanse his way? By taking heed to your word. With my whole heart have I sought you, do not let me wander from your commandments.

I am the daughter of a King. My royalty is not of this world. My crown is not of this world. My inheritance in not of this world. I desire not the things of this world, but only those which you have given me that are great and mighty. Bloat out all wickedness from my heart, remove from me the ways of this world and grant me your law graciously. Turn my eyes away from vanity and quicken me in your ways. Show me your gracious mercy that I may answer him that reproaches me.

Remind me your words Oh Lord! Those that have caused me to have hope in you and only you. And I will speak of your testimonies also before kings! And I will not be ashamed. I will arise early to sing your praises, I will hasten to shout your praises and I will write to glorify you and you alone Oh Lord my God.

Let your faithfulness never depart from me. Walk with me all the days of my life on this earth which I have no inheritance. Help me to fix my eyes unto the author and finisher of my faith. The one who is, who was and is to come. What more can I say of these things? If God be for me, who can be against me? I shall boast eternally about the sacrifice at the cross, because only the cross lifted me up and made me worthy to sit in heavenly places, far above principalities, powers and spiritual wickedness.

May your way be the only way in my life. If man has not seen Moses, Esther, Noah, Ruth, Elijah, Israel, Rahab, Job, Jabez, David, Leah, Abraham, Joshua, Solomon and all your great servants, may they see me Agnes and glorify you on this earth once more.

Let it be known, that I love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my heart, all that is within me and I hate wickedness!

Teach me Oh Lord to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto wisdom. Change the course of my heart to obedience of your law and to hearken to your voice in all things.

In Jesus Name, I have found freedom. Make haste your good promises Oh Lord. I will trust in you with all my heart and I will be careful to do that which is according to your teaching that I may partake the good of the land.

I love you Oh Lord, my redeemer, my Healer, my Father, my Prince of Peace, my Joy giver, my King, my Husband, my Rock, my Shelter, my Hidding place, my Treasure, my Friend and the keeper of my Heart.
