Of David, When He Was In Distress
I get super excited when I am around people talking about Jesus. I just want to listen and learn new things, new perspectives, contribute to the discussion and stay there forever. I am being drawn more and more to Him each and everyday; I desire Him, like a craving that cannot be quenched. He says,

Never be thirsty -I love how He spoke so recklessly-wise and powerful. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51.
I mean honestly, this sounds like a madman speaking and that’s why I love Jesus because I relate with His profoundness; His sense of non-protocol in His teachings and HIS LOVE which makes me understand myself more and more when I reflect my nature to His.
Yesterday I was reading through Ephesians and I caught something so interesting about our manner of speech. I had been wondering, how as Christians we are expected to live life without complaining even a bit — even in the slightest. I thought that it honestly sounds ridiculous. Trying to convince myself, I started saying, “there are situations that surely will compel us to complain and I am sure God understands.” (Belly laugh! I know y’all have had such thoughts.) So this verse illuminated the truth I should practice and walk in — to avoid adopting worldly perceptions and creating my own thoughts on how God operates.
Ephesians 5:19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.
Like legit, we are supposed to go around speaking to people in this kind of fashion. Can you believe how different the world would be if we practiced this verse steadfastly?
Anyway, now to the basis of my post. I am blessed by this Psalm of David so profoundly, words cannot fully express what these words David spoke and wrote mean to me. I will share the whole chapter because it heals my heart and also because it reveals God’s ability, His might, His love, His power and wondrous nature.
It’s quite interesting how these men in the Old Testament faced similar struggles to ours today and overcame them so powerfully and victoriously, adding they had no salvation (JESUS) but the laws of Moses and guidance of the LORD for them that sought Him.

Amazing! Awed! And thankful that I am a part of the same inheritance and blessing.
