The LORD is our Banner

The Lord Save Us In The Time of Trouble

The Lord hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you and send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion. [The Lord hear your cry, your anguish, and your distress unto Him and may He visit you in His loving-kindness.]

May the Lord grant you according unto your heart, and fulfill all your counsels. [Those that be pleasing in His sight, may He bring to pass swiftly. May He strike out the anxieties in your heart, and strengthen your position in His word.]

For we will rejoice in His salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up banners: the LORD fulfill all your petitions. [Yes, all your petitions that are in accordance to His will, and grant you a better vision for those that incline towards selfish pleasures.]

I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will hear them from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. [He will deliver them from the fowler’s snare. The Lord places a hedge around His servants and His hand is ever on them. He will never allow their foot to slip though they grow feeble in strength and fearful at heart.

He will uphold them with His righteous right hand and deliver them in the day of trouble. — For the psalmist wrote, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Some trust in chariots, some in horses: but those who trust in Him will remember the name of the LORD. [Loving God, let not our hearts depart from you. Stir us up in the night watches as we await your visitation; fill our lamps with that oil that never runs out.

Father dear, remind us continuously, to always set our eyes and our hope above so that we may not follow the error of our fathers who trusted in chariots and horses.  For those who trust in such are brought down and fallen: but those who trust in you, rise, and stand upright. May our trust not be in men who; waver like the sea in the tempest. But in You who are our only hope.

Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call. [We may not understand many things in times of trouble and are inclined to make erroneous presumptions, utter foolish words, and make unwise judgements; yet, this one thing we know, that the Lord is faithful – and on this rock we rest.

We wait on You-  for You O Lord are our Ebenezer.]

Such a timely Word from our GOD that encourages us to hope and trust in HIM for help in times of need and ultimately deliverance…
