This year, the sassy girl has learnt that submission to God is not a one day affair— but a daily yielding of self to the Potter.

She has learnt that yesterday’s obedience cannot cater for today’s failure to obey. Everyday calls for its own obedience to the Father.

Lord, I am willing: to follow and obey You. And everyday, I know that I will be willing. But I also know that my flesh will never be willing.

Yet I know for certain, that my spirit is truly willing.

My prayer this day Lord is that You bring out a daily willingness and obedience to You in my life because only You can.
