As the deer pants after the water brooks, so longs my heart after You O God! The Living God. Psalms 42:1

My heart longs after You with a deep longing. Day by day my heart yearns for the living God; my soul thirsts for You O God!

Night by night I meditate upon Your Word and remember Your righteous and tender acts towards me O God.

Whom have I in heaven beside You? Whom have I on earth aside from You?

My bones cleave onto Your Word as a child cleaves unto its mother.

Your Word is more sweet to me than honey, and to keep it, though accompanied by the bearing of a cross, brings much delight to my soul.

My life, my substance, my heart, my flesh and bones belong to You O God.

I delight to think thoughts after You, for such are thoughts that translate to peace, tranquility, joy, and rest to the soul.

Saving Jesus, I am not ashamed to be termed a fool for reason of Your Sweet Name. A name that brings much calm to my soul.

Indeed, Your name is a strong tower, and whenever, and wherever I run into it I am safe.

Psalms 73

24 You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works.
