He Is At The Very Gates

These are strange times we are living in. I believe we can all agree to that fact. The many strange diseases, human hearts growing more and more cold, wars, disagreements, discords, divisions and people’s desires being driven by money, covetousness, lasciviousness, lust and pleasures.

If I was to write of the many ills in the society today, I suppose even my words would be inexhaustible. This only goes to show that we are living in dangerous times and when I say dangerous, I mean the very end times.

Now, in the past I always thought this end times business was some abyss and it did not really fit so much with my catholic faith. I pushed it away to some further future and to be honest I also never heard any emphasis about it anywhere even in church.

Suppose I asked you today, if Jesus came back today, would you be ready to face Him?

Many, have honestly taken the second advent of Jesus Christ as a light matter, some even as generational joke, but I tell you, when the son of man comes many will call to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! —Revelation 6:16

Kings of the earth, princes, generals, the rich, the mighty, every slave and every free man will hide in caves and among the rocks of the mountains fearing the wrath of God. For I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the city of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than of those that knew of Jesus Christ and turned their backs on Him. Jesus told the people of His day that the people of Nineveh shall rise up on the day of judgment and condemn them that heard the good news of salvation and did not repent. For when Jonah cried out repentance, there was no message of mercy, love, washing away of sins and forgivness but only judgement— and the whole city including the animals fasted and repented. What of us? How true is that of this generation as well?

Many people have been deceived by earthly things, religion, false prophets who preach only pleasing things to the ears and think their own good works and deeds will save them. Many think, “we still have time”, others think, “there is no such thing” and some think, “I think I am okay, I have done my best, God will attest” but I tell you truly of the things that I have heard. The people called Noah a fool and laughed at him when he built the ark and called men to repentance—and if there is one word I have come to honor in the letter by Paul to the Corinthians, is the word ‘foolishness’ because it pleased God that this foolishness of preaching should be used to save them that believe 1Corinthians 1:21

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

I am no longer afraid to declare these things, for I say what my Father in heaven tells me to say.

Oh, that today, you would hear His voice and harden not your hearts. Rend your hearts and not your garments, for Jesus is coming, He is at the very gates.

Shall He find you readily waiting like the five wise virgin bridesmaids or shall He find you asleep, unprepared?

Many men do not understand the gravity of death without having accepted with their hearts, minds, body and soul, Jesus as Lord and saviour. When He comes the second time and all men face judgment, death to all who didn’t believe on Him, who did believe but did not obey His words will be final.

Oh, that today, you would hear His voice and harden not your hearts. Rend your hearts and not your garments, for Jesus is coming, He is at the very gates.

These words are true and are in scripture.

I wish you all a blessed Tuesday. I pray for all my readers, all my foes, family and friends. May the Lord see you and touch your hearts. May He make all your hearts receptive to hear and acknowledge His voice.
